Rhino LAN Zoo Setup for Cyberstrak

Cyberstrak supports the  Rhino LAN Zoo for the usage of license keys on several computers ("Floating Licensing"). To use this license scheme you need to purchase in the Cyberstrak Online store a Zoo based license ("perpetual"). This license has no expiration date, but can be used in a network only for a dedicated number of parallel Cyberstrak users.

With the purchase if such a license you receive an E-mail with the license key(s) together with instructions how to activate it.

The following steps are required to add your license to the Rhino LAN Zoo:

  1. First you need to download and install the Rhino LAN Zoo server. It has to be downloaded from the following website:  https://www.rhino3d.com/download/zoo/latest/  Further information about Rhino's LAN Zoo you can also find here:  https://wiki.mcneel.com/zoo/home
  2. Download now the Cyberstrak Plugin for the Rhono LAN Zoo. You can use the download button on top of this page. Unpack the zipped installer and execute the unpacked file Cyberstrak_Zoo_Plugin_Setup.exe.
  3. Open the admin panel of the Rhino LAN Zoo. If the server is not yet active start it.
  4. Click the "+" button. A popup menu appears (see image below).  Select "Cyberstrak Modeling Plugin" as product type.
  5. Fuill the required fields  "Registered Owner" and "Registered Organisation" with your information to ensure, the license can be seen as correctly assigned in the network later on.
  6. Enter your license key from the E-Mail or license file in the field "Product license code or CD key".

Now the new license key should be visible as "available" in the Zoo admin panel. If you start Rhino now you should be able to use the Cyberstrak commands with the new license. If the Cyberstrak Plugin is still in trial mode you can start the command "CSLicense". There you can explicitely switch from "Subscription" to "Zoo Licensing".

Further information you can find also in the Online manual of the Cyberstrak Plugin.
